About me
I’m a graduate student in Arts in Medicine at the University of Florida and Vice Chair of Athentikos, an international arts-based nonprofit. Before and alongside graduate study, my work has included business ownership, marketing, project management, nonprofit leadership, community programming, research, and creative facilitation. I’m interested in how we can make better use of the arts as a resource for people and communities, both to build capacity before disruption and to help people reconnect, make meaning, and imagine what comes next afterward. I’m especially curious about what it takes to move arts-based work from something we recognize as valuable to something communities are actually prepared to use well.At Athentikos, I’m involved in the continued development of Make-Break-Transform, a community arts framework exploring disruption, agency, and transformation.I’m looking forward to meeting people working across arts, community resilience, health, and disaster recovery.
