Readiness planning isn’t as mysterious as it sounds. This learning sprint will provide a universal overview of the steps in becoming more prepared for disruptions to your practice or organization.

The truth is, the value of a Readiness Plan is created before you ever start putting it on paper. The value is in the decisions you make, about your career, your practice, your structure, and how best to protect it from damage. We’ll provide a high-level overview of the critical steps: risk assessment and mitigation, business continuity planning, how to navigate and have agency during all phases of an emergency from small to large, and how to protect your legacy now and in the future. We’ll also introduce arts response networks and mutual aid, elements to provide collective self-reliance.
