About me
Al Chandler is a community leader from Mayfield and Graves County, Kentucky, with extensive experience in disaster response, long-term recovery, nonprofit leadership, and community collaboration following the December 2021 Western Kentucky tornado. He has served in leadership roles with the Mayfield/Graves County Long-Term Recovery Group and currently serves as Board Chair of The Lighthouse – A Healing Place. He is also a pastor, educator, and incoming Graves County Commissioner. His work emphasizes building strong community partnerships, coordinating resources, and helping communities move from immediate disaster response toward long-term recovery and resilience.
