Roundtable Discussion: AFTA Incubator Three-Month Convening
Thursday September 24, 2026 12:30pm - 1:30pm EDT
In June, 2026, the Americans for the Arts AFTACON conference in Albuquerque featured, as one of its nine pathways for participants, “Readiness, Response and Community Care.” A full-day Incubator immersed local arts agency leaders, arts advocates and artists in conversation, hands-on learning and networking. The final component of the day was the offer/challenge for each participant to make a commitment to not just networking, but organizing, recognizing that care and preparedness require structure, not just goodwill.

This roundtable, co-hosted by AFTA and NCAPER, is part of the 3-month post organizing for action infrastructure for AFTA Pathway Attendees, and anyone who would like to be part of this conversation!
